AOAC method scope is infant formula, enteral products and pet food. CODEX STAN 234-1999 also has it listed under Edible casein products (a strange classification but I guess it includes some IF) and whey powders. Method 985.35 is not going to be very robust for reasons below, so we should limit its scope as much as possible unless specific data are obtained.
