The method is meant for nitrogen/protein analysis in fluid milk and supported with very good validation data. But validation data are lacking for method applicability to additional matrices. CODEX application of the method includes matrices like various blends consiting of evaporated milk or powdered milk or sweetened & condensed milk with vegetable fat.

This is a very widely used method in our lab as well as many other food testing facilities. Performs very well. Many upgrades, automation variations of the methods are available but this is the base.
