6.0 PROCEDURES 6.1 A benefit eligible employee who has been authorized to be out of the City on official duty must notify the immediate supervisor/manager regarding the work hours expected to be absent from work prior to departure. 6.2 On the first day back at work after the official duty absence, the benefit eligible employee will notify the immediate supervisor/manager of any adjustments to the hours absent based on the actual work hours away. 6.3 The supervisor/manager is responsible for ensuring entry of the appropriate pay code into the City’s time-keeping system. 7.0 PEOPLE & CULTURE CONTACT Benefits 8.0 APPENDIX, APPENDICES Position Types (page 427 )
