6.1 A benefit eligible employee who has been authorized to be out of the city on educational leave with pay must notify the immediate supervisor/manager of the work hours he expected to be absent from work prior to departure. The employee must also give the supervisor a copy of the completed training program registration form when registering for the program. 6.2 Upon return to work, the employee is responsible for ensuring the leave records are updated or corrected. 6.3 The supervisor/manager is responsible for ensuring the appropriate pay codes and hours are entered into the City’s time-keeping system. 7.0 PEOPLE & CULTURE CONTACT Benefits 8.0 APPENDIX, APPENDICES Position Types (page 424 )
