Most of the listed apartment communities require applicants to be at least 62 years old or a person with a mobility impair- ment, including sight and hear- ing impairments. Persons with these impairments do not have to reach the age of 62. Some listings presented in the publi- cation allow a wide range of age groups, but are included in this section because of the large number of senior citizens or mobility impaired person liv- ing in the apartment communi- ty. Please check the specific community to determine entrance requirements. Fortunately, many subsi- dized apartment communities do not have long waiting lists.
