produced a concentrate grading 51,9 % Cu and 1 300 ppm Ag. MOD has been actively exploring in the Kalahari Copperbelt since 2011 with Mahumo (previously known as the Corner-K deposit) being its first significant discovery. The Mahumo Stage One resource of 2,68 Mt is rela- tively small (compared, for example, to the 100 Mt of Cupric Canyon’s Zone 5 project in the same area) but is also the highest grade (at 2 % Cu and 50 g/t Ag) resource yet reported for the Kalahari Copperbelt and Botswana and remains open below the limit of drilling (300 m) along its 2,4 km long strike length. Results from the scoping study conducted on Mahumo have been positive and have indicated the potential for an initial 4-5 year underground mine at a production rate of up to 40 000 tonnes per month. The proposed mining method assumes two declines with mechanised mining to access and develop underground
