TPT September 2008

EuroBlech 2008:

T here has always been a close relationship between sheet metal and tube. Both share an overlapping partnership in metalworking technology that creates an effective synergy. When an advance or technical discovery is made in one field, it has an impact on the other. Tube and pipe is born from sheet and strip – formed and rollformed, bent and shaped, cut and welded – with precision and expertise. Established forty years ago, Euroblech is the world’s most established and comprehensive show for sheet metalworking technology. It may therefore be no surprise that a large and increasing number of tube and pipe companies will be present at Euroblech 2008. And – with an exhibitor list of over 1,400 companies from 39 countries – these companies are amongst a mass of exhibitors serving the machinery, tools and systems required for high- quality sheet metal working. Exhibits will cover the entire sheet metal working chain, including sheet metal, tube, sections (ferrous and non-ferrous), finished products, components, handling, tube/section processing, joining and welding, surface treatment, and CAD/CAM systems. The event takes place from 21-25 October 2008 at the Hannover exhibition grounds. It covers 87,000m 2 net of exhibition space in 8 halls, which is 12,000m 2 more than the last show. Euroblech 2008 is set to be a surefire hit with over 64,000 trade visitors expected.
