The Green Value Mortgage is an exclusive loan program offered by AmeriFirst Financial, Inc. that rewards builders and their buyers for building green. Research has shown that consumers who purchase energy efficient homes have a lower default rate. The Green Value Mortgage allows buyers to benefit from the responsible choice of buying an environmental friendly home.

The Green Value Mortgage provides more buying power, translating into more money in your pocket.

Is the Green Value Mortgage a conventional or FHA loan? Both! AmeriFirst FInancial, Inc. utilizes standard buyer underwriting requirements for both Conventional and FHA loans. • Conventional options include a Fannie Mae approved 97% First-Time Homebuyer loan • An exclusive down payment assistance program (AFI 100) provides qualifying buyers with DPA of a non-repayable gift of 3.5% (standard FHA underwriting and fees apply)

What is a Green Value score?

The Green Value Score takes into consideration all green products and construction practices and gives the builder credit for successful implementation of required standards.

You will also be equipped with on-site signage, including electronic lead capture functionality. This will save you time, and show potential homeowners that you are serious about helping them find their green, dream home.
