(forward pleat) or HLWP (plain front). Each pair of pure linen trousers…$245. Wool, silk, and linen blend trousers…$375. b. Here is our favorite dress shirt this season:

exceptionally finely woven soft and non-bleeding denim from one of Italy’s best mills, cut with a cutaway collar, (which, as we have said many times, is the best collar under a jacket if no tie is worn, since it sits perfectly), and trimmed, as all American denim traditionally should be, with understated orange stitching. Of course, our perfect mother-of-pearl buttons are always the finishing touch for all of our shirts. Shirt, 152…$225. Shown at left: Shirt, 152...$225. Forward pleat trousers, HSTF-A…$245. Plain front trousers, HSTP-A…$245. Belt, S9057-C…$135. c. Our espadrilles this season are made for us by Geox, and have canvas uppers, rope detailing, and a white rubber sole with the trademark Geox breathable and waterproof membrane. European sizes 41–46 (US 8–13), whole sizes only. Shown clockwise from left: A-navy; B-grey with multi-colored Donegal flecks; C-red. Geox canvas espadrilles, GCE…$110.
