Church Plant Team Responsive Reading World Impact

Leader As church-planting missionaries, it is your task to proclaim, by word and deed, the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to build his Church. You are to call people to repentance and faith, announcing God’s forgiveness to those who repent and believe. You are to love and serve the people you work among. You are to be faithful in preaching and teaching the Word of God to them. You are to baptize and disciple them so that they learn to obey everything that Christ commanded. Teams We commit ourselves to the task of establishing new churches among the unreached in urban America.

Leader So now, go forth in his name and make disciples.

Teams We will seek to respect and be guided by our appointed leaders, and serve our fellow team members with love and humility.

Leader Go, and bear witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Teams We will strive to be diligent in our reading and study of the Scriptures and faithfully teach and defend sound doctrine.

Leader Go, and sow the seeds of eternal life.

Teams We will trust the Holy Spirit to help us to faithfully shepherd all whom we are called to serve, laboring together with them and with our fellow ministers to build up the Church of God.

Leader Go, and declare the name of Jesus to the lost.

Teams We will do our best to pattern our lives in obedience to Christ’s teachings so that we may be an example to the churches we plant.
