Notes From The Council

The Council is looking forward to a busy Fall. Maine Health will be here for the annual Flu Vaccine Clinic, we are looking forward to Elizabeth Doughty, PT, DPT,GCS, CDP offering a workshop on Fall Prevention as well as individual, in-home safety evaluations, and the Council is excited to bring back Soup Lunch this Fall!

Of course, everything depends on CDC guidelines and COVID. Dr. Larson, the Maine Health Nurses and Dr. Rybka continue to come to the Wellness Center. The Wellness Center will offer the Foot Care Nurse, the Dental Program, and Massage Therapy as soon as the providers are available and CDC guidelines allow.

Our summer hours effective through Labor Day: Monday 6:00-8:00pm • Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10:00am-4:00pm • Saturday 10:00am-1:00pm Stay tuned to hear about our fall hours. We will announce on the Chebeague website, our website, the library Facebook page, and on our door and rolling outdoor sign. Curbside pickup is available by calling during business hours. Internet access is available 24/7 outside the library. Masks are required for unvaccinated patrons. Please do not come to the library if you are feeling sick.
