X All candidate methods for nutrients and analytes in AOAC-SPIFAN are subjected to a common SLV protocol (Appendix L). The SLV guidelines were drafted in 2011 by the SPIFAN ERP X It was noted SPIFAN may need to address expectations/criteria for Study Directors of methods for new/novel ingredients/analytes, since the SLV protocol is considered no longer fit for purpose X INCA agreed to work with all Manufacturers on edits to the Guidelines document.
