obtained first place and a Silver Medal at the October, 1923, Final Examination. He served his apprenticeship with his father, Mr. Anthony Carroll of Fermoy. Obituary, MR. DONALD J. GALVIN, died upon the 8th August, 1923, at his residence Parkhurst, Victoria Road, Cork. Mr. Galvin served his apprenticeship with his father, the late Mr. Barry C. Galvin, Cork, was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1914, and practised at Cork. MR. JAMES SMTTH, died upon the 12th August, 1923, at his residence, Coney Hall, Drogheda. Mr. Smyth was admitted in Easter Term 1875, and practised at Drogheda up to 1921, when he retired. MR. ROBERT ESPINASSE, died upon the 20th August, 1923, at his residence,. Shortstone, Dundalk. Mr. Espinasse served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. Robert E. Baillie, Castle- blayney, was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1893, and practised at Dundalk. MR. BERNARD M. O'GRADY, died upon the 6th September, 1923, at his residence " Corbally," Grosvenor Road, Dublin. Mr. O'Grady served his apprenticeship with Mr. Thomas T. Mecredy (Junior), Dublin, was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1897, and practised at 22 Nassau Street, Dublin. MR. JOHN B. LYNCH, died upon the 15th September, 1923, at Dublin. Mr. Lynch served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. Thomas Lynch, and Mr. Michael J. Macnamara, Ennis; was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1905, practised at Ennis, and was State Solicitor for Co. Clare. MR. THOMAS J. MACGRATH, died upon the 15th September, 1923, at his residence ".Cluain Ard," Glenageary, County Dublin. '-'"Mr. MacGrath served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. George C. Stapleton, Dublin, was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1897, and practised at 15 Kildare Street, Dublin. -_

MR. HUGH R. POLLOCK, died upon the 6th October, 1923. Mr. Pollock served his apprenticeship with Mr. John G. Fottrell, 46 Fleet Street, Dublin, and was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1911. MR. HENRY B. FITZGERALD, died upon the 5th October, 1923, at his residence 26 Brigh ton Square, Rathgar, Co. Dublin. Mr. Fitzgerald was admitted in Trinity Term, 1876, and practised at 205 Gt. Bruns wick Street, Dublin, up to 1908, when he retired. ———— MR. ALFRED B. KELLY, died upon the 21st October, 1923, at his residence 50 Waterloo Road, Dublin. Mr. Kelly was admitted in Trinity Term, 1857, and practised at Castlebar up to 1919, when he retired. New Solicitors.
