Appointments. MR. JOHN P. McGovERN, Solicitor, Enhis- killen, has been appointed Under Sheriff for the Co. Kilkenny in room of Mr. James McCreery, resigned. MR. JAMES LYNCH, Solicitor, Ennis,.has been appointed State Solicitor for the County of Clare, in the room of. the late Mr. John B. Lynch. MR. CHARLES T. KENNEDY, Solicitor, Skibbereen, has been appointed Under Sheriff for the Co. Cork in room of Mr. John Jermyn, Solicitor, resigned. Commissioners to Administer Oaths The Lord Chief Justice of Ireland has appointed the following to be Commissioners to Administer Oaths :— Joseph A. Mulligan, Charlestown, Co. Mayo. Thomas F. Rogers, Tipperary. Commissioners for Oaths (Northern Ireland). The following have been appointed by the Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland to be Commissioners to Administer Oaths :— James Herron, Solicitor, Ballynahinch. Richmond A. E. Evans, Solicitor, Bally nahinch. John P. Thompson, J.P., Secretary of Derry Chamber of Commerce. James McCleery, Solicitor's Assistant, 33 Shipquay Street, Londonderry. Stephen McManus, Dungiven. John Ross, Solicitor's Assistant, Drapers- town. Notaries Public. The Lord Chief Justice of Ireland has appointed the following to be Notaries Public :— . C. Rupert Robinson, Solicitor, 10 Nassau Street, Dublin for City and County of Dublin. William Keily, Solicitor, Letterkenny.

Solicitors' Annual Certificates. Members are reminded that their annual Certificates for the year ending 5th January, 1925, should be taken out, and the duties paid thereon, before the 6th February, 1924. The Certificates of Solicitors whose offices are situate in the Irish Free State, are issued in the office of the Secretary of the Incor porated Law Society of Ireland, 33 Moles- worth Street, Dublin, and the duty is payable at the Inland Revenue Offices, Dublin Castle. The Certificates of Solicitors whose offices are situate in Northern Ireland are issued in the office of the Secretary of the Incorporated Law Society of Northern Ireland, 2 Rosemary Street, Belfast, and the duty is payable at the Inland Revenue Offices, Belfast. Obituary. MR. CHRISTOPHER J. P. FARRELL, died upon the 17th December, 1923, at his resi dence Longford. Mr. Farrell served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. William Carey, 2 Wellington Quay, Dublin, was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1900, and practised at Longford. MR. WILLIAM J. FLEMING, died upon the 17th December, 1923, at his residence, Mourne View House, Lurgan. Mr. Fleming served his apprenticeship with Sir Charles H. Brett, Belfast, was admitted in Hilary Sittings, 1901, and practised at Lurgan. MR. JOHN O'DWYER, died upon the 24th December, 1923, at his residence St. Michael Street, Tipperary. Mr. O'Dwyer was admitted in Michaelmas Term, 1876, and practised at Tipperary. MR. JOSEPH P. O'CoNNOR, died upon the 25th December, 1923, at Clontarf. Mr. O'Connor was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1890, and practised at Dublin.
