TMT bars are also useful in high-rise constructions. Himanshu Golchha, director of the Hulas TMT bars division, said that the product has been launched to cater to the country’s growing construction activities. Hulas has the capacity to manufacture 100,000 tonnes of TMT bars and over 4,000 tonnes of structural steel annually at its plant located in Biratnagar. Hulas has been manufacturing various steel products for five decades, and its TMT bars have already received several quality awards. “A series of stage inspection, unprecedented chemistry and stringent checks ensure that Hulas TMT bars have higher reliability compared to normal TMT bars,” said Golchha.
