Check out the CPD Branch Events and CPDLive webpage as we look forward to hosting a SPA CPDlive online event on 12 December 2014 by Dr Julia Starling to cap off her very successful National Tour. A professionally collaborative approach to supporting upper primary and secondary students with language and literacy difficulties by Dr Julia Starling , Live event to run on Friday 12 December 2014 (2-3.30pm AEST). This event will look at one collaborative and evidence-based method where speech pathologists train teachers in ways to modify their oral and written instructional language in order to support older children and adolescents with language and literacy difficulties. The structure of the presentation will allow for plenty of questions and discussion. Speech pathologists who attended the 2014 Speech Pathology Australia National Tour workshops given by Julia this year are encouraged to attend as well as those that missed that opportunity, as they will find that this information is a more in-depth presentation and discussion of ideas briefly introduced at the end of the second day’s workshop. To find out more and/or to register to attend Live or view the Recording after the live event, go to the CPD Branch Events and CPDLive webpage .
