Q UALITATIVE A NALYSIS The experiment was conducted over a week long period. Day 3: The mixture of reactants resulted in an expected colour change as seen in the test examples. Ring formation was present in 4.5g variation, see picture 1. It was also noticed that reigns of suspected precipitate were uneven.

Day 4: Ring formation is now more evident through 3.5g, 4g, and 4.5g. However, test tubes of 2.5g and 3.0g still have no evidence of ring formation.
