This is what they call the incred- ible din made by drums and trumpets parading in front of the image of Jesus Christ in the processions through the steep streets of the historical old town of Cuenca.

Towards the end of spring you can at- tend the festivity of Corpus Christi in Toledo. A solemn parade in a city adorned for the occasion with ancient standards and tapestries on the balco- nies of the houses and flower arrange- ments in the streets.
