February 2015

By Jeri Jacobs

Women golfers of Frenchman’s Creek played their President’s Cup tournament on February 10 and 12, 2015. The Presidents’ Cup is a Ringer tournament and the Format is best ball of the partnership of the two players. On the second day, participants have the opportunity to better their scores. Competition was intense, as players battled gusty winds and very cool temperatures on Tuesday. Thursday, players enjoyed better weather conditions and shorter playing times, due to not always bettering their previous scores and thus picking up their balls. Thanks to the golf staff for facilitating the tournament. Now they have to work on the weather! Congratulations to the winners of each flight!
