Dear HBCC Members,

We hope your summer is off to a wonderful start! It’s been great seeing everyone enjoying the Club amenities and events this time of year.

I want to take this opportunity to provide you with an update on changes being made to our Payment Terms and Credit Policy which will be effective starting July 1, 2018.

Credit Policy: Member statements will continue to be processed and sent electronically on the first of each month as we have previously done. Statements continue to be due in full upon receipt. However, please note these updates:  Member statements will now be due no later than the 10th day of the same month.  Member accounts not paid in full by the close of business on the 10th day of the month will be assessed a 10% late fee.  Statements not paid in full by the close of business on the 10th day of the month will be suspended. Payment Options : The Club processes credit card payments securely through services provided by ETS Corporation. ETS Corporation provides their processing services for a fee. Beginning July 1st, 2018, this fee will be charged to the Member at the time of payment. For Members paying with a Visa and MasterCard, a convenience fee equal to 2.7% of the monthly statement will be added to the total bill at the time of payment. For members paying with an American Express credit card, a convenience fee equal to 3.2% of the monthly statement will be added to the total bill at the time of payment. Members may continue to submit payment via electronic bill pay or personal check. Payment must be received by the 10th day of the month to avoid late fees. If payment is not received by the 10th of each month, the Member account will be suspended until the payment is made. The club’s accounting team is currently working to setup ACH transactions as a payment method. This will be complete by July 1st. Further communication will be sent to members once the setup is complete.
