OF CUSTOMS/PEKING/25.4.95’ cds, and ‘CUSTOMS/SHANGHAI/1.5.95’ transit, ‘MERAN/9.6.95’ transit and ‘ST.JOHANN/11.6.95’ arrival cds. A red band cover fromWuhu to Canton, bearing Red Revenue small figures surcharged 2c on 3c, (stamp oxidized) tied by rare ‘CUSTOMS/WUHU’ cds, on reverse with ‘CUSTOMS/SHANGHAI/21.3.97’ transit and ‘CUSTOMS/CANTON/27.3.97’ arrival cds. A domestic Red Revenue cover is very rare, especially to Canton, a diagonal tear on reverse, but not affecting the stamp or any cancellation. Rare. Photo HK$ 40,000 - 50,000
