A stampless cover from Ningyuen (寧遠) registered to Germany, via Siberia handstamped char. ‘From Ningyuen Registered…55’ and ‘R/PEKING (CHINA) no.55’ registered chop in black, and also handstamped red char. ‘From Peking Foreign Northwest Dry Road (由北京外洋西北旱路) the stamp itself was taken off in the post office, therefore, the post office sealed 2 pieces of the ‘Chinese Imperial Post/Officially Sealed’ stamp green label x 2, each tied by bilingual ‘PEKING/15.4.09’ cds. with ‘ROERMUND/1.5.09’ arrival cds, some soiling due to careless handling.
