Conclusion

• Use the best advanced Photon technique (3D conformal RT, Tomo, IMRT, VMAT) for individual case, to reduce dose at OAR. • Proton therapy may provide high dose conformity and reduced integral dose. Further steps to go: • Based on adequate imaging, continue to reduce the Target volume as the most efficient way to reduce dose at the OAR. • Radiotherapy is still a very important treatment option in selected Hodgkin`s patients.

Studies are needed to evaluate the advantage of protons in Extended Hodgkin`s Disease in the mediastinum.
