Institut für Chemie und Biochemie What do you wish you knew before you began your studies in biophysics?

To be honest, I was not very aware of the field of biophysics when I started to study biochemistry. It was only when I took a course about biophysical methods that I got hooked and joined a biophysics program for my Eras- mus Exchange Programme in Belgium, and then joined Helge Ewers ’ lab for my PhD. Sometimes I wish to have had better basics in programming, physics, and mathematics, but I love both biochemistry and biophysics and hope that I can continue working in both fields in the future.
