Associate Director ofAthletics Dan Yourg, Associate Director of Ath let– ics, has been a member of the USD Ath letics Department since the fall of 1985. Yourg oversees football , baseball, men's basketball, golf, men 's soccer, and men 's and women' s tennis. Hi s primary responsibilities are with fund raising, overseeing the Torero Athletic Association (TAA), and marketing and promotions fo r the athl etic department. He oversaw the capital campaign for the Jenny Cra ig Pavi lion, whi ch opened its doors in October of2000. Brian, who res ides in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego, has four children: Bridget (a USD graduate), Joe, Coll een (a senior at USD), and Megan.

Wendy McReynolds Assistant Director ofAthletics for Marketing and Promotions Wendy McReynolds begins her first year at USD as the Ass istant Director of Athletics for Marketing and Promotions. Wendy comes to USD from Virgina Tech where she held the titl e of Director of Sports Marketing and Promotions since 200 I. Prior to that she was the assistant for one year

In addition , she has a coaching background at the hi gh school and co llege levels, and has served on several committees within the NCAA, ECAC and Ivy League. Her educational background includes a B.S. degree in Hea lth and Phys ica l Education from West Chester State Co llege, a M.S. degree from West Chester, an Ed.D Doctor of Education from Temple Uni versity, and a degree from th e Executi ve Program/Sports Manage– ment In stitute at the University of Notre Dame. Prior to her appointment at Virginia Tech she a lso gained experience at the University of Maryland where she was Assistant Director of Sport Marketing for two years, at Wichita State for two years as the Assistant for Sports Marketing & Promotions and at the University of Florida Athletic Association as a Marketing Assistant. She earned her B.S. degree in Sport Management from Guilford Co ll ege in 1994 and her M.S. degree in Sport Management from West Virgini a in 1996. Ted Gosen Associate Director ofAthletics f or Media Relations Ted Gosen, Associate Director ofAthletics for Media Relations, is in hi s 22nd second year. He oversees all public relations acti vi– ti es, publications, athletic website and infor– mation services for the athletic department, in addition to hosting the media at USD events. He is assisted by Nick Mirkovich. In 198 1Ted rece ived his Masters of Science degree in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. A 1979 graduate of San Jose State University, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Busi ness Administration. In addition to hi s SID duties, Ted is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoS IDA); a member of USD's Athletic Hall ofFame Committee; and teaches a bowling c lass through the USD recreation department. Ted and his wife Terri, a 1983 USD graduate, reside in Poway with their four daughters: Katie ( 16), Colleen ( 14), Claire ( 11 ) and Erin (7).

Carolyn Greer enters her twenty-sixth year as the Head Certified Athletic Trainer for the University of San Diego ath letic department. She is assisted by Suzi Higgins and Paul Signorelli. A 1975 graduate of San Diego State Uni – versity with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Phys ica l Education , Carolyn went on to earn

her Master's in Sports Medicine in 1978. Over the years she has taught classes in Sports Medicine and had numerous articl es published in a variety of journals. She oversees sixteen interco ll eg iate teams and approximately 390 USD student– athletes on a yearly basis. The Sports Med ici ne staff provides injury preventi on, immediate care, and rehabilitation for USD's intercolle– giate athletes. Carolyn, and her husband Jeff, res ide in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego with their two boys, David and Jason.
