Michael H. Manning, MD, FACS is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing in the Tampa, Florida area. He

is a leader in cataract, LASIK, and other advanced vision correction surgery procedures including implantable

contact lens and refractive lens exchange. He was recently honored to serve as the Tampa Bay Ophthalmology

Society President.

Dr. Manning also focuses on the management of glaucoma, dry eye disease, pterygium, eyelid surgery, and

comprehensive ophthalmology. He prides himself on providing his patients with a personalized, boutique

approach to their eye care.

Dr. Manning graduated with the Honors Degree Program from Rollins College. He completed medical school

training and an Internal Medicine internship at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He then

went on to residency training in ophthalmology at the University of South Carolina / Palmetto Health where he

was honored to serve as chief resident.

Currently, Dr. Manning is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society

of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the International Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS), the Florida

Society of Ophthalmology (FSO), the Tampa Bay Ophthalmology Society (TBOS), the American Academy of

Cosmetic Surgery (AACS), and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Manning is board

certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO).
