“Bill” William F. Wiley grew up in Toledo Ohio, attended University Of Virginia undergrad and then Medical

College of Ohio (AOA). Bill did his ophthalmology residency at Rush Pres. St. Lukes in Chicago and performed

a refractive surgery fellowship with his father Robert G. Wiley, M.D. in Cleveland, Ohio. Bill is currently the

medical director of Cleveland Eye Clinic, Clear Choice Custom LASIK Center, and Toledo LASIK .

Bill's specialty is cataract and refractive surgery. He has helped lead his practice to pioneer many new

ophthalmic technologies. His practice was the first in their region to perform: Femto LASIK, Femto cataract

surgery, Kamra, CK, ORA, ORange, Holos, CXL, Tecnis IOL.

Beyond aiding in early commercialization in new technologies, Bill has helped lead his practice in FDA phase III

and IV trials. These include Calhoun Light adjustable lens, Presbia, Raindrop, and ORA. Bill enjoys working

with new technologies helping to trouble shoot and innovate early solutions providing feedback to industry and

sharing his experiences through lecturing in the US and Europe. Furthermore Bill enjoys growing his private

practice through strategic acquisition growing from one location in 2012 to currently 9 locations in the northeast

Ohio area.

Bill enjoys traveling with his family, skiing, boating, and triathlon training.
