David H. Bellamah, MD, FACS, received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cincinnati, Ohio’s Xavier

University Summa Cum Laude in 1991. From there, he attended the College of Medicine at the University of

Cincinnati, which is where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1996. After medical school, Dr.

Bellamah finished his surgical residency at Cincinnati’s Good Samaritan Hospital in 2000.

He relocated to Western Montana in 2001. Since that time, he has been providing the residents of Missoula,

Montana, and its surrounding communities with state-of-the-art care in General Surgery, Advanced

Laparoscopic Surgery, Wound Care, Treatment of Venous Disease, Trauma and Acute Care Surgery.

Dr. Bellamah has 15 years of experience in the field of Vascular Surgery. His passion for treating venous

disorders is what led him to open his own vein center. His dedication to his patients is evident, with his 5-star

rating on RateMDs. His friendly nature and dedicated staff make visiting his office a pleasure. Bellamah Vein &

Center’s Mission Statement makes it clear that he strives to treat his patients with the respect, compassion,

Dr. Bellamah believes that each patient deserves individualized care that is tailored to meet his/her needs. He

takes great pride in diagnosing and then presenting his patients with a treatment plan customized to their

particular needs. Dr. Bellamah encourages his patients to ask questions and is always happy to discuss what they

can expect from their customized treatment plans with them.

Dr. Bellamah devotes his time to the diagnosis and treatment of lower extremity venous disorders. These

disorders include varicose veins, stasis ulcers, leg pain and spider veins. To cure these venous disorders, Dr.

Bellamah uses state-of-the-art, non-invasive procedures. These procedures include radio frequency ablation,

sclerotherapy, phlebectomy and endovenous laser therapy.

Dr. Bellamah served as the Clinical Instructor for the Department of Surgery at the University of Washington.

And as the Wound Care Director at Saint Patrick’s Hospital from 2004 to 2013.
