Craig Hobar, MD is a plastic and craniofacial surgeon. He graduated from the University of Miami School of

Medicine, completed general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at U. Texas Southwestern in Dallas and

completed a craniofacial fellowship at NYU. He received his executive MBA from USF in 1998.

Dr. Hobar is the Director of International Craniofacial Development at Medical City Children's Hospital in

Dallas, Texas, and has a private plastic surgery practice in both Dallas and Austin, Texas. He is the Founder and

Medical Director of LEAP Global Missions which is entering it's 25th year and has operated on over 9000

patients from 24 countries.

Dr. Hobar has received the In Chul Song award, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery's Volunteer

Award, the Dallas Business Journal's Healthcare Hero Award, and special recognition from the city of Dallas for

his leadership of surgical teams sent to help in the Haiti earthquake relief efforts.

Dr. Hobar was a founding partner of Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, one of the largest plastic surgery practices

in the country, and has a busy aesthetic and craniofacial practice.

Dr. Hobar is a black belt in judo and three times National Master's Champion. He has been married to Robin

for 40 years, has three grown children and four grandchildren.
