(EDC)  Assist development of Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) to help create an on-going revenue source to promote the area as a destination. (EDC)  Assist the development of a Downtown Marketing Business Improvement District (BID), independent of the PBID, to increase revenues that help promote and market Downtown. (EDC) In addition to these key focus areas, the Economic Development program for FY 15-16 will continue to support local and regional economic development partnerships, assuming leadership positions on regional boards with a continued presence in the Silicon Valley Economic Development Alliance, the Silicon Valley Manufacturing Roundtable and the League of California Cities Housing, Community and Economic Development Policy Board; increase presence with the International Downtown Association.
