CHEERLEADERS The USO Cheerleaders strove to broaden their expertise t~ year by adding more women and men who performed cholenglng st'-'lts. pyramids and dance routines. Thew support of the football and basketball teams on road trips and at home helped raise school spint at games. Furthermore. appearances on chamel 39's com– merclals and the "The Himmel Show" which occl.lTed on Superbowt 51.nday. brought much positive publicity to the university. During football five women comprised the squad. Under coach Ro– salie Borboa and moderator Kandy Mink. they mastered crowd con– trol. girt-on-girt stlS'lts. performi'lg cheers and dance routines. Just two weeks befae basketball season began. this small squad added five more women and six men. As a result, Coach Borboo was able to expand her choreography to Include dlfflcut patner
