PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION COMMITTEE NEWS

IAAO Procedural Rule 10.5.2 states (in sum):

a) Candidates satisfactorily completing the Certificate Program in Real Property Assessment... from the Uni- versity of British Columbia may receive educational equivalencies for all IAAO educational courses re- quired in the CAE, RES and MAS program. b) Candidates may receive credit via waiver for comparable demonstration appraisal reports by submitting proof of successful program completion and an Application for Demonstration Narrative Appraisal Re- port Waiver.

FCIAAO AWARDS

Here in the Florida Chapter of IAAO, we take pride in recognizing the individual achievements of our members in the assessment industry. FCIAAO members are encouraged to Nominate fellow members for the Member of the Year Award and Lifetime Achievement Award . All nominations are voted upon by the FCIAAO Execu- tive Board. Nominations must be submitted to the FCIAAO Vice President at least 60 days prior to the FCIAAO Annual Conference.

Member of the Year - Submit Nomination

Must be a FCIAAO Regular, Subscribing or Associate Member (in good standing) who has made a significant contribution to the realization of the FCIAAO mission in his or her career. The recipient shall receive compli- mentary registrations (non-transferable) to the TPP Seminar and FCIAAO Annual Conference immediately suc- ceeding the conferring of the award.

Lifetime Achievement Award - Submit Nomination

Must be a FCIAAO Regular, Subscribing or Associate Member (in good standing with at least 15 years of FCIAAO membership) who has made significant contributions to the Chapter through active participation in its activi- ties and who has made an outstanding contribution to the realization of the FCIAAO mission in his or her ca- reer. The recipient shall receive complimentary life FCIAAO membership and registrations (non-transferable) to the TPP Seminar and FCIAAO Annual Conference immediately succeeding the conferring the award.
