John Martin has been a member of the USD athletic staff since 1975. He was the school's first head women's vo ll eyball coach, a post he held through the 1989 season, and also oversaw the Recreation Department. As vo lleyball coach, he directed theToreros to three postseason appear–

A graduate of Saint Mary's College (B.A. in Politics, '96; M.A . in Sports Adm inistration, '99), Reed also held athletic department positions at Saint Mary's Co ll ege and w ith the West Coast Conference. Besides overseeing all home athletic events, Reed wi ll help oversee the management and marketing of the building to help attract outside events like concerts, trade-shows, etc. Carl resides in La Mesa, Californ ia. Chandra Kohler, Events Manager for Jenny Craig Pavilion C ha ndra Kohler begins her first year at USO in the new position of Events M a nager for the Jenny Craig Pavilion. ances, including a 4th place finish at the 1976 AIAW Nationals. As Director ofAthletic Facilities, Martin oversees all the sched– uling, field maintenance and purchas ing. The past few years he was the department's key li ason during the construction ofthe Jenny Craig Pavilion. A graduate of San Diego State (B.A. & M.A. in History), John resides in Encinitas with his wife Jane. They have two children: Eliza, a senior at USO, and son, Patrick, a senior at San Dieguito High School. Joel Morgan Asst. Joel also obtained experience as an admini strator for the 1999 NCAA Elite Eight and 2000 Sweet Sixteen Men's Basketball Tournaments. Joel obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Manage– ment from the University of Iowa in 1997. Joel and his wife, Erin, reside in Miss ion Valley.

Mike Ma toso is in his first season as USD's Comp li ance Coord inator, a nd second year with the USO staff. Last season he was the Academic Support Coordinator. Prior to USO , he spent three years as the Academic Counse lor at USC where he was in vo lved with the footba ll , baseball , women's
soccer, swimming and volleyball programs. Prior to USC, Mike served as the Academi c Advisor for all 18 inte rco llegiate programs for Ca l Po ly San Luis Obispo for two years. He earned both hi s B.S. degree in Physical Education ( 1993) and M.A. in Education, Coun– se ling ( 1994) from Ca l Poly. He was a lso a starting pitcher for the Mustangs baseball team that fin ished 2 nd in the Division II Co llege World Series. Mike a nd his wife, Kel ly, reside in Ca rl sbad with their newborn daughter, Ab igail. Marc Meeker, Dir. of JCP Fitness Center/Asst. Strength Coach Marc Meeker, a native of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, joined the USO staff in August, 2000 as the directorofthe Jenny Craig Pav ilion Fi tness Center, and Assistant Strength & Cond itioning Coach. Prior to USO, Marc served as the Assistant Strength and Condition ing Coach at North Dakota State Un iversity He also ga ined experience at ~astern Michigan State ( 1997) and as an intern at the Uni ted States Olympic Training Center in San Diego ( 1996). A 1996 graduate of Bowli ng Green State University where he earned his B.S. degree in Education (Exercise Specialist), Meeker was a student strength coach there from 1994-96. Meeker is certified by the National Strength and Conditi on ing Association, and is also a level one U.S. Weightlifting Coach.

Fink completed her B.A. , grad uating w ith honors in Socia l Sc ie nce from Berkeley in 1994.
Andie Clover Athletic Ticket Manager
Andie is in her first year as Athletic Ticket Manager at USO. She came to San Di ego from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minne– sota where she was the Assistant Ticket Manager and worked in the ticket office since 1993 . She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphas is in Sports Management from the Univer– sity of Minnesota in December, 1996.
