tensive experience as a coach and player. He served as the general manager of the Co lumbus (Ohio) Basketball Club from February -August, 1995. While in Co lumbus, Flint was also the co-director of the Krider Basketball Camp and the Adidas Summer Shootout. A native ofHayfork, California in the northern part of the state, Fli nt was head coach of basketbal l and football at Hayfork HS from 1991-93. A 1984 draft choice of the Portland Trai lbl azers, Flint played for Jerry Tarkani an at UN LV from 1980-82 before earni ng a degree in Political Science from UC San Di ego in 1984. SAM SCHOLL Schol l, USD's lone sen ior on last year's 20-9 team, played guard for the Toreros the past two seasons. Prior to USO he played two seasons at Tacoma Community Co l– lege in Tacoma, Washington . From Gig Harbor, Washington, Sam is currently completing his undergraduate degree in Sociology at the Univers ity of San Diego. Bes ides assisting the coaching staff with day-to-day operations, Scholl helped run the USO boys basketbal l camps this past summer.
