0.5 g milk + [ 13 C]-aflatoxin M 1

50 mL milk Immunoaffinity column Wash the column (20 mL H 2 O) Elute column (4 mL ACN) Evaporate eluent to dryness Reconstitute

2 mL milk + 2 mL ACN

Vortex 30s/sonicate 30min Centrifuge 10 min at 4000 rpm 2 mL top layer + 0.5 g NaCl Vortex 30s/sonicate 30min 0.6 mL top layer/freeze out 1 hr Centrifuge at 2 o C at 15,000 rpm Dilute filtrate 10x

Add 4.5 mL acetonitrile/water (50/50)

Hand shake 2 min

Centrifuge 15 min at 4500 rpm
