RubinBrown Gaming Stats 2011

Missouri Gaming Statistics

Missouri continues to lead the Midwest in casino revenue growth, recognizing a 3.35% growth in gaming revenues during 2010. The state’s ability to produce growth amidst the continued economic uncertainty is attributable to the continued investment in the Missouri gaming industry. Principally in 2010, Pinnacle Entertainment opened River City Casino, located in the southern St. Louis suburb of Lemay. The property generated over $143 million in its first 10 months of operation and contributed to the state’s overall positive growth. However, the opening of River City was not the only major event in Missouri during 2010.
