• Coordinated two county-wide Emergency Volunteer Center trainings using funding from the Santa Clara County Office of Emergency Services • Led coordinated efforts during the winter storm with partnering agencies including; Santa Clara Valley Water District, Santa Clara County Office of Emergency Services, National Weather Service, Pacific Gas & Electric, neighboring cities, and issued an AlertSCC preparedness message to neighborhoods at the base of Anderson Dam • Develop Hazard Specific Annexes to the Emergency Operations Plan (Enhancing Public Safety, Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust) • Increase the EOC Team’s ability to utilize WebEOC through training and exercise (Enhancing Public Safety) • Increase the MHPD Dispatch Team’s ability to send IPAWS messages through training and exercise (Enhancing Public Safety, Preserving and Cultivating Public Trust) • Implement a Spanish language Listos Training Program (Enhancing Diversity and Inclusiveness) • Run a full scale EOC exercise in alignment with the “HayWired” scenario and “Great California Shakeout” (Enhancing Public Safety, Regional Initiatives) FY 2018-19 and 2019-20 Activity Goals

Financial Comments OES will continue to seek homeland security grant opportunities for EOC equipment, emergency response equipment, and EOC training.
