Financial Comments Site enhancements are financed by a grant from the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority. Administrative matching funds (City staff time) and site acquisition costs (Butterfield Blvd. Extension Project) from the City contributed to the project and have already been funded outside of the project budget. $30,000 was spent on this project in FY 2017/18.

Operating Cost Impacts The community group maintains most of the garden and pays for the water consumed at the facility. The City does not have appreciable ongoing operational costs at the community garden.
