Banksia Gazzette July 2018 Final

From the Manager s Desk

Hi Everyone …. Welcome to the July Issue of the Banksia Grove Gazette …

Well … it’s been another busy month with lots happening in the Village ...

A Big Thankyou to everyone involved in organising Banksia Grove’s ‘Biggest Morning Tea’. It was great to see so many Residents come along to support such a worthy cause. And wow—the Morning Tea itself was amazing … It is a credit to everyone who took part in the day and contributed to raise an amazing amount of $1778.50. A big thankyou to everyone who donated prizes, money, bought raffle tickets and cooked up all the delicious treats. Also thanks to Marilyn for donating the fabulous table centrepiece. Hampshire was once again happy to offer their support with a $300.00 donation. The Banksia Grove Bus Trip to Brooklyn Public Wharf on the Hawkesbury and Luncheon Cruise on the Riverboat Postman’s Run was another amazing day out. The weather was absolutely perfect … great food … a lovely morning tea and a delicious local fish’n’chip lunch on board, and the scenic trip around the Hawkesbury !!! Thanks so much to the Residents Association for organising another fantastic trip !!! Well, our boys have been busy and doing a great job around the village … building new bookcases for the Community Hall … rejuvenating the gardens and grounds and planting new plants and bushes to enhance the Village landscaping. With the weather we are having they should flourish in no time and be lush and lovely by summer. Everyone that visits comments on how beautiful our Village is … the peaceful tranquillity along with how neat and tidy and well kept our homes are … it really is a credit to you all … thank you for keeping our village beautiful !!!

Also, a friendly reminder, Memberships for Banksia Grove Residents Association Inc. are now due. Please see FORM for completion NEXT PAGE

Till next month … Take Care & Stay Warm Everyone …

Cheers …. Maria & The Banksia Team
