Becoming a Pad- dle Canada Basic Kayak Instructor will give you the tools you need to provide exceptional instruction. This course combines dry land and on-water skill development with teaching strategies and safety. Prerequisites: Paddle Canada Basic Kayak and Paddle Canada Sea Kay- aking Level 1. This 2-session course uses Green- land techniques to teach partici- pants the mechanics of rolling a kayak. To take this course, partici- pants must have a good controlled wet exit, be comfortable staying in the kayak while it is upside down, and competent paddling skills.
