HARRISON. MAINE 04040 2026 ANNUALREPORT

The Village Library of Bolsters Mills is grateful to the Town of Harrison for its continued support. We are an all-volunteer library located in the former two-room schoolhouse in the Village of Bolsters Mills open to the residents of both Harrison and Otisfield. Currently, we are open on Saturday afternoons between 1:00 and 4:00pm. Anyone interested in volunteering to tend the Library is encouraged to stop by on any Saturday afternoon. As always, our Librarian has continued to keep us current, purchasing and displaying the newest in fiction and non-fiction throughout the year. We have two computers available for public use and free Wi-Fi that can even be accessed from the parking lot if the Library is closed. If you have an author you follow or a book we don’t have, speak with our Librarian. She is happy to respond to special requests. The Library is especially proud of the extensive collection of Maine authors which has been maintained for decades. In addition, there are records and material related to the Village history, as well as to the towns of Otisfield and Harrison. Although there is no running water or plumbing, the Library is available to the communities of Otisfield, Harrison, and Bolsters Mills for small meetings. Please contact our Librarian to discuss possibilities.

Respectfully submitted,

Charna Katz, President
