On be half of my self Bill Calihan(harbor and grounds) and Scott Greenfelder(club house) together we nominate John Sweier as "Member of the Month". John and Shelley have been able to spend a lot more time at the island this year, do to Johns retirement. With this extra time John has on his hands, he is always looking for projects to do around the island and inside the club house. John is very proud of our club and likes to do his part in keeping it looking sharp. Not only does Scott and Myself benefit from John doing these little projects and jobs, the club benefits the most. North Channel Yacht Club would like to welcome outstanding members Chris and Julie Strzyzewski to the Order of the Anchor. If there is a job to be done, no matter how simple or how complicated, they are always ready to take it on. Their pride in our club is irreproachable and with the cheeriest of attitudes, superior organizational skills and advanced mechanical ability they tackle just about anything with success.
