Family Emergency Supply List

Description A key component of healthcare surge planning is to ensure the health and safety of a facility's workforce. Facilities should encourage staff to have a family emergency supply kit. The following checklist provides staff and their family members with a list of items to consider when developing an emergency supply kit. This checklist was taken from the federal Department of Homeland Security website at www.ready.gov .
