Calexico The Thread That Keeps Us Hailing from the second-best American city which isn't pronounced the way it looks (Tucson; number one is Arkansas), indie-rock Tex-Mexers Calexico are releasing their ninth album The Thread That Keeps Us on January 26 , via Spunk.

Aaron Maine is Porches, and his third album The House promises to be a sort of synth-pop Big Thief affair. It includes an impressive list of guests, including two of our faves: (Sandy) Alex G and Dev Hynes (whom you may know as Blood Orange). It's out on January 19 via Domino.

Kimbra Primal Heart She's got two Grammys, four ARIAs, six New Zealand Music Awards and a whole lot of hearts sitting on her shelf; acclaimed Kiwi singer-songwriter (and the OG Lorde) Kimbra is releasing her third full-length Primal Heart on January 19 , via Warner. ZKR

Tonight Alive Underworld After their recent and most excellent rendition of the best Silverchair song of all time ( Without You on UNFD's Silverchair tribute album Spawn (Again) – see page 24), Jenna McDougall and co. are releasing their fourth album on January 12 via UNFD.
