Overpopulation is a concern that has many worrying about what the future may hold for housing, medical care and other societal issues. However, screenwriters Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor may have the answer in Downsizing . What if you could safely shrink yourself down into a more compact version, live in a smaller town, with smaller friends, and have your wealth multiplied beyond belief? Let’s not forget that you’re helping to save the planet at the same time, with these new micro-cities and developments taking up barely any room in the grand scheme of things. This social satire stars the comedic wit of Matt Damon, Kristen Wiig, and Jason Sudeikis among others, and will no doubt keep both the young and young at heart laughing all the way through.
