Connected Camping

For many Canadians camping is a chance to trade in the hustle and bustle of daily life for the tranquil, restful setting nature has to offer. Most campers don’t mind being disconnected and unaware of what’s going on at work or on the latest reality television show. However, for some, the thought of being disconnected while enjoying the outdoors is scary. Parks Canada has taken these folks into consideration while deciding to offer Wi-Fi service in dozens (and eventually hundreds) of national parks and national historic sites across the country. The Wi-Fi locations will be located at visitor centres and campgrounds where traffic is high. You may even be able to find a few hot spots out there right now and will definitely find more over the coming years.
