Adding an Image to your Signature

Once signed into account: 1. Click ‘settings’ button on top right of page (it looks like a gear) 2. Click ‘more mail settings’ in the drop down menu 3. Under ‘Writing Email’ click ‘Formatting, Font and Signature’ 4. Scroll down to the ‘Personal Signature’ editing box. Change drop down menu from ‘rich text’ to ‘edit in HTML’ 5. Use the HTML code you copied from the DMS email ‘INTER.act Image’ and paste it into the editing area of the Personal Signature box. 6. Click ‘Save’ > go back to your inbox 7. Test your signature image by sending yourself an email. You should be able to see your image and click on it to view your newsletter.

NOTE: You may have to enable the downloading of images prior to seeing your signature.

How to Add an Image to your Gmail Signature with an Embedded Hyperlink

Sign in to your Gmail Account

Click on gear icon > Settings > General Tab (opens by default) > scroll down the page to Signature box

Click ‘Insert Image’ icon (it looks like two mountains in a square). Copy Hosted Image URL received in email from DMS and paste into the ‘Image URL’ field in the open window on your Gmail account. Click ‘OK’ Select the image by clicking on it. Click ‘Link’ icon (looks like two chain links). Link to ‘Web Address’(chosen by default). Copy ‘Personal Newsletter Web Link’ you received in your email and paste into ‘Web Address’ field. ‘Text to Display’ field can be left blank. Click ‘OK’

Scroll to the bottom of page and click ‘Save Changes’ to save your new signature.

Test your new signature by sending an email to yourself, click your image to confirm that it is connected to your newsletter.

NOTE: You may have to enable the downloading of images prior to seeing your signature.

How to Add an Image to your Yahoo Signature

Before you begin:

1. Sign into Yahoo account 2. Open ‘INTER.act Image’ email you received from DMS

Once signed into your Yahoo account: Click ‘Gear’ icon (on the top right side of screen) > Mail Options > Signature (can be found on LH Menu) > editing box will open up - In the drop down menu above the signature editing box, ensure that ‘show a rich text signature’ is chosen - TEXT must be included with your signature image in yahoo mail or the image will not show up when you try to write an email. For example, you can type ‘Kind regards,’ ‘Your Name | Company’, etc. Open ‘INTER.act Image’ email you received from DMS and click ‘view photo’ > click on the magnifying glass icon on the bottom right of the image to isolate it > right click on image and choose ‘copy’ > go back to yahoo signature editing box and paste image

Click on the image you just pasted in the edit box to highlight

Click ‘Link’ button (looks like two chain links). A new window will open asking you to ‘Please Enter URL for Link to Point to:’ > Copy the Digital Web Link from the DMS email and paste it in this field > Click ‘OK’ NOTE: The link to your newsletter is now embedded in your signature image, if the link also shows up as text above or below your image, the text can be deleted if desired.

Click ‘Save’

Test your new signature by emailing yourself, try the link to your newsletter.
