Front row l-r: Michael Staines, Daniel Staines. On Saturday 29 June, twenty six teams took part in the Younger Members Annual Soccer Blitz at Blackhall Place. Participants travelled the length and breadth of the country and for the first time our colleagues from the Law Library entered a team. Thefirst round matches kicked off at

about 10am and all eyes were on the teams in football strips and printed T- shirts. Female strikers were in demand (only females could score goals) and like the recent European Cup, many of the matches were decided on penalties. The tennis tournament got underway in the afternoon.
