Martin Harvey qualified as a solicitor in 1978 and practices in the firm of Martin A. Harvey & Co. which was founded by his father. Martin has been appointed to serve on the Pro- fessional Guidance Committee. Martin's main objective as a new member of Council is to make the Law Society more user friendly to its members. He would like to see the Society in a more representative role of its members and he is of the view that the Law Society is in fact going in that direction. Gazette Review Committee Francis D. Andrew Dillon qualified in 1973 and lives and works in West Cork. He has been appointed to serve on the Parliamentary & Law Reform Committee and the Registrar's Committee. Andrew is hopeful that the report of the Review Group will be seriously considered and that most, if not all, of its recommendations will be implemented.
