Richard Barrett

Richard Barrett qualified in 1986 and is a partner in the firm of Collins, Brooks & Associates, Clonakilty, Co. Cork. Richard has been appointed to serve on the Professional Guidance Committee. Richard's objectives are to see the implementation of the recommendations of the Review Group report and to keep his colleagues updated on the developments at Law Society level, particularly in relation to education and entry into the profession.

Eamon O'Brien Eamon O'Brien qualified as a solicitor in 1983 having practised previously as a barrister on the South Western Circuit. Eamon practises in Limerick and is also the City Coroner for Limerick. Eamon was elected to the Council as the delegate for Munster and has been appointed to serve on the Compensation Fund Committee. Eamon would like to ensure that small firms are adequately represented on the Council that their concerns are properly addressed. He is also anxious that delays in the courts be reduced.
